Tekapo is a small island region just off the Johto mainland, it's border is just 50 km (30 miles) southwest of Cianwood. The island is roughly 80 km (50 miles) long, and 43 km (27 miles) wide. It's major features are Dawnfrost Mountain which rises 4432 feet (1386m), and Catfish Lake, which is known for its deep clear water and abundant fish, including magikarp.
The island's natural grasslands have been converted into farmland which provides the region's entire food supply. it's forests surround Dawnfrost Mountain, Catfish Lake, the Tekapo River, and the island's north-west and south-east coasts. Tekapo's southern beachfront and northern coas
